A reason why I believe that think before you act is a good theme for the story monsters due on maple street is because this moment in the story when Charlie shoots Pete van horn dead. this moment is one that in my eyes captures the theme think before you act pretty well because when Charlie shot Pete, Charlie was thinking that he had killed the monster when he instead shot recklessly and didn't look carefully too see that it was just Pete.Additionally another reason why think before you act is a good theme for the monsters are due on maple street is when the town people let fear and paranoia control them and they all fought in the end. This example is a good one for think before you act because they didn't think and they all blamed other people and without thinking they all broke out into a fight.Finally one more reason to why this theme is good for think before you act is when they all became a mob and didn't think but they followed and they followed without thinking proving my point to them acting in this case following without thinking. In conclusion a theme I believe fits "the monsters are due in maple Street" well is to think before you act.
