The issue of misinterpretation from mass media, as they have the tendency to advocate against those groups and activists may face this public exposure from your research as another political tool for opposing ideologies to agitate against them. That is why it could be useful to seek for possible gatekeepers.

- In western Europe countries have the right to protest, but often is exploited. In the past couple of years these protests have increased. In the Netherlands we also see this rise in protest movements. Alongside this increase in protests, we also see an increase in police brutality that is used during these protests.
- Also, protests have been canceled recently due to safety. This raises a question about the right to protest. You as a researcher must take into account that these increasing factors of police violence can cause situations to escalate and that it is important to know when it is not safe to conduct research during a demonstration for either you and the interlocutors.

- No. I know that you are being monitored by the state and I do not want to hurt you. Also, I am not going to include anything that you do not accept. At the end of the day, I have to be reflective and acknowledge that you have a good cause behind your actions, and the one that is going to benefit the society. I do not want somebody else to use the content of my paper in a wrong way and misrepresent my research.
