- At 12:30PM a group of friends Michael, Adrien and Caiden are spending lunch together at a restaurant, eating and talking, when Caiden began to notice strange behavior from Adrien that raised suspicions

- To be fair, the right thing to do is probably to tell Kate the truth, even if it risks affecting my friendship with Adrien or even ending it. At the end of the day, Kate deserves honesty, and if cheating is actually happening, it isn’t right to ignore it. It may not feel good in the moment, but it could be the more responsible choice in the long run, even if the consequences are difficult.
- If I choose not to tell Kate and decide to stay silent about the situation, it likely wouldn’t impact my friendship with Adrien because I’m not directly involved. There’s also the possibility that Caiden misunderstood what he saw, or that they’ve simply been friends the entire time. Because of that uncertainty, staying out of it feels like the option that causes the least potential harm.
- After Michael carefully analyzes each decision, he finally makes his choice.

- After Michael and Caiden spend the rest of their hangout at the mall, they eventually part ways. Later that evening, as the day winds down, Michael reaches out to Caiden to tell him the decision he’s made.
- Hey man, what did you want to talk to me about?
- I’ve decided I’m not telling Kate. Like you said I’m not directly involved, and I think getting involved could cause more harm than good if I’m wrong. It’s better if I stay out of it.”
- Good choice.It’s probably better if you stay out of it. At the end of the day, it’s entirely his decision, and this way there’s a better chance of keeping your friendship with Adrien intact as well.
