The Pearl

"THAT IS TOO LOW OF A PRICE. This pearl is worth at least 50,000 pesos!!"
Kino is on the way to try and sell the pearl to their first buyer. (They get offered 1000 pesos from the first guy. They were not happy with it so they went on to the second potential buyer.)
"I can offer you 1000 pesos for this pearl. Nothing more."
"Please offer us something! We are not trying to trick you! I promise you it is worth a lot of money!"
Kino moves on to the second person to see if they can get a higher offer. (They get a lower offer and they think to themselves, "Should we go back to the first guy?"
"This pearl is not a good material. I don't think I should offer you pesos if I can make money off of it!"
This is this last person Kino went to see. He only got offered 500 pesos and he wasn't satisfied with that either.
"Please offer me more than 500 pesos. You are my last choice and I need this money! Please help me!"
"I am sorry but I can only offer you 500 pesos. This is a terrible pearl and this is the best offer I can give you. I am sorry."
