The proclamation of 1763 was issued to avoid any future conflicts with natives west of the Appalachians. The line ran from Massachusetts to Georgia. It kept colonists from being attacked by natives for crossing over their land and kept native land safe.

The Sugar Act was a tax placed upon certain goods. The tax, implemented in 1764, halved the tax on foreign made molasses which angered colonists. It strengthened the enforcement on smuggled cases, it angered the colonists more.
BOSTON MASSACRE 1770
The Stamp Act was passed in March of 1765. The act required colonists to buy special stamped paper for every important legal document, newspaper, etc. The colonists protested by creating a resistance group called Sons of Liberty. They boycotted British goods until the Stamp Act was repealed in 1766.
BOSTON TEA PARTY1773
The Townshend Acts were indirect taxes on imported materials. The taxes were directed towards glass, lead, paint, paper and tea. The colonists boycotted the materials stating No taxation without representation.
On March 5, 1770, a fight broke out between british soldiers and colonists. To this day, no one knows who called out to fire but shots were fired and 5 people were killed. It was 100 colonists against 9 soldiers, while snowballs, clubs and other stuff were being thrown at them. The colonists used the massacre as propaganda against the british.
On December 18, 1773, the colonists responded to the Townshend Act being put in place. Some Boston colonists dressed as Native Americans and dumped 18,000 pounds of tea into the Boston harbor. The Boston Harbor was closed and the Intolerable Acts were put into place.
