Tekst Storyboardowy

  • Love is not all: it is not meat nor drinkNor slumber nor a roof against the rain;
  • It's explaining love isn't everything. It's saying love can't provide you with the necessities that you need. It won't give you the food and water that you need. It can't provide you with shelter or protection. It's saying love can't do anything for you.
  • Love can not fill the thickened lung with breath, Nor clean the blood, nor set the fractured bone;
  • It's saying love can't save someone or bring them back to life with putting breath back into someone and bringing them to life. It's also saying love can't heal someone. It can't heal you from sicknesses or cleanse you. It can't heal you when your physical pain and hurt. It's continuing to show that love can't provide you with any physical needs nor can it help you.
  • The poem uses more of a realistic tone to it. It crushes the fairy tale that makes it seem like love is all. It shows people that once you found love everything will be added to you. That you'll finally have your happily ever after. It gives you the reality that love won't be able to provide for you. Throughout most of the poem, it shows how love can't aid you in your health and the things that you need to survive. Then it changes to a brighter or softer tone. At the very end, it talks about how even though love doesn't help you with anything at all, it is important to all. It's something that no one would let go of or change for these things. It talks about how love can't do anything for you physically but you'll give up almost anything for it.
  • The turn was in line 9 of the poem. At first, it was more sober and realistic. Then it became more morbid and hateful. As if she hated the love she has. It also seems as if the love was driving her crazy. On line 10, it says "Pinned down by pain and moaning for release," which shows how morbid the Turn became. Line 12 says "I might be driven to sell your love for peace,". It shows that that love drove her crazy, and therefore she hated that love.
  • I might be driven to sell your love for peace, 13Or trade the memory of this night for food.
  • She would rather trade the memory of this love with food than with keep it because it was driving her crazy.
  • It well may be. I do not think I would.
  • The end explains that even if she could trade the love for something  like food or peace or any other necessity, she still wouldn't. The theme is that love is not a necessity nor can provide you with the necessities to live, but it can bring an addictive feeling that you wouldn't trade for anything else.
