All of Katherine's achievements altered societal views and proved to the world that your race does not define who and how you are. She proved herself to be amazing, and was even awarded by Obama for all she achieved over the course of her time at NASA. Like Katherine Johnson once said: “You are no better than anyone else, and no one is better than you.” meaning no one can shut you down as long as you do not shut down anyone else.

On July 14, an angry mob had attacked the Bastille which is a prison in Paris, in search of weapons.This event ended up becoming a symbol of the people rising up against the king's domain, and it marked the beginning of many other violent protests.
