"There are 7 continents on Earth named North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and Antarctica. There are also 5 oceans surrounding these continents; Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic and Southern. Earth is almost 71 % water and only 29 % land. Because of its abundance of water, Earth is the perfect planet for all sorts of life. Also, all this water keeps Earth's temperature regulated, meaning that it doesn't get too hot or too cold at times.
"Of course, there are also other bodies of water, not just the 5 oceans we talk about. The Longest River in the world is Africa's Nile River. It spans a length of over 4,000 miles.
