Thank you Susana. I will be sure to give these to him.
Please give these clothes to Omar. I guessed with the size so it might be to big or to small.
When one of my coworkers told me that a boy named Omar had been called back for a second interview I was overjoyed. It had been years since I had heard about him. I had gotten so distracted with other things that I had forgot about the second interview. I just have a feeling that this was going to go well.
When Omar and Hassan were about to leave for America. I was glad that they were able to get this opportunity. They deserved this after being in this refugee camp. That day Omar told me what "hooyo" means. It means mother. When I heard this I was immediately sad. The boys had never stopped looking for their mother. I am so glad that they get to go to America. I hope that one day that they will find their mother.
This was when my boss told me that I will be going to Bangladesh. I wanted to watch over Omar and Hassan. I wanted to make sure that they have enough support while in America. I know that moving to a new place can be difficult.
I understand
Susana we are going to need you to switch to Bangladesh. I'm sorry about the short notice.
After some convincing, I was able to switch back to Dadaab. Omar has graduated from university. Now Hasaan now goes to an adult care center. They are doing well now. I am so happy for them. They deserve this after ll they went through.
For some reason, I feel like a mother. I feel like I just raised children and saw them grow up. Omar and Hassan have grown up and have started to accomplish great things. Omar is a social worker as he said when he was younger. he said that he wants to help the refugees is Kenya that are just like him. He also wants to help women in Fugger camps have an education. I believe that he can do it and he can make a change in this world.
