Montressor said that the Amontillado was inside of that small room. I was a little bit skeptical at first but trusted him for he wouldn't lie to one of his bestest friends now, would he?

Montressor told me that the amontillado was in this room but every time I told him I didn't see it he reassured me and told me that it was in there and that I wasn't looking hard enough. Eventually I gave up and tried to walk out.
