- Exposition
- "Its that pale vulture eye... I MUST GET RID OF IT...even if I have to kill the man"
- Rising Action
- "I have been standing by this door for the past 8 nights. I have to get rid of the eye. It is driving me mad !!"
- Climax
- " I've done it! I killed the man, and no one will find out. I hid every piece of evidence. I cut up the body is a bathtub and chopped the man into small pieces.
- He wanted to kill the old man because of his eye though the man was nothing but kind to him.
- Falling Action
- Everything is fine.
- He stood by the old mans door for 8 days trying to find the perfect time to kill him. He will attacked when he is able to see the eye.
- Resolution
- The butler has finally killed the old man. He is getting rid of the body .
- The police came after the neighbor reported a loud noise coming from the house. The narrator (butler) then sits them near the bodying sits on top of the body.
- The narrator admitted to killing the old man.
