- Jude holds back from telling the whole truth to Barry about what happened between her and Reese. "But after the blackout, she hadn't told anyone. She wasn't even sure how to explain what had happened between her and Reese. One night they'd been friends, the next lovers" (Bennett 124). Jude chose not to explain what really happened because she wasn't sure nor confident in where Reese and her relationship lies.
- You didn't! Oh, I can't believe you! You sat right there on my couch and told me you had some big fight--
