- Connor ordered a cup of iced milo from the drinks stall and was not given a straw because the vendor said that they are trying to cut down plastic usage to help with the environment. Connor feels a little bothered as he prefers drinking with a straw rather than from the cup itself.
- At home, Connor decided to do more research on why it is important to be environmentally friendly. Feeling eager to make a change, he found out that he could adopt some green habits to help cut down plastic usage by using a tumbler, lunchbox, reusable utensils and metal straws. He searches where he could purchase these products and came across a few stores, however, the prices were not wallet-friendly.

- The next day at school while waiting for the lift, he noticed a poster on the board. It was to promote an eco-friendly store in HANGOUT@UOB. Feeling curious, he decided to scan the QR code.
- The code led to BECOME's Instagram page where tips are shared on how youths can start adopting sustainable habits. He also noticed that they are selling eco-friendly products that can be used daily.
- Connor went down to HANGOUT@UOB to look at the products. BECOME was having an offer. Seeing as it was a good deal, Connor decided to purchase a metal straw and sign-up with UOB to go for the bracelet making workshop for free.
- Satisfied with his purchase, Connor shared his experience with his friends and showed them BECOME's Instagram page. He urged them to head down to HANGOUT@UOB to check out BECOME as they have attractive promotions and it would allow them to start being more eco-friendly. On top of that, since the products are cheaper, it would not affect their budget.
