As he begins to travel in neighboring towns of Periscus, he finds only destruction and death. He becomes emotionally motivated to beat Scorpius, as he looks upon the destruction caused by the monster. He wants to hurry up his journey and takes an extremely dangerous trail filled with various creatures. As he defeats several monsters, he begins to feel unstoppable.
Rising Action
Cyclops -->
Omiros starts his long journey to Periscus, to defeat Scorpius. However, he runs into a group of giant cyclops in the forest. He tries to outrun them, but since they are giants, he has no choice but to fight them off. After a great battle, he succeeds, and feels extremely prideful of his victory. He realizes that after he defeats the giants, he needs to rest before continuing his journey. He looks at his map to try and see what route would take him the least amount of time and finds that route to be through the sea. He buys a boat at a coastal port, since he doesn’t have the resources or time to make one.
