The French and Indian War

In 1754 the entire east coast was established as the 13 British colonies, but the French wanted to start their own colonies too and soon started fighting over territory along with the Indians and Colonists. After the 7 Year long war the colonist and British won, Britain went into dept after the war started and started a new law that taxed the Colonists called The Stamp Act.
Shot round the World
The British government was taxing the Conolist on unreasonable things such as tea and postage. The colonists had enough and refused to pay taxes without representation in the British Parliament which caused the Boston Tea Party in 1773. Then they made the First Continental Congress discussed the crisis in the colonies and the crisis exploded into war.
Battle of Yorktown
After the Americans beat the British at the Battle of Saratoga, The French noticed their victory and wanted to fight the Colonist against Britain in order to get revenge on Britain. The French brought trained soldiers, warships, and guns for the colonist to fight against the British.
The British were furious and started gathering troops against the colonist and Paul Revere heard about this and warned the colonist that "The Red Coast are coming". On April 19, 1775the colonist's first attack the British happened in Lexington which is know as "Shot Around The World"
