The French, Spanish, and English came to the new world for money, religion, fur, land and more power. They came to the new world and settled east of the Appalachian Mountains. Some of the British came for wealth, and some came for religious freedom(mostly from the king).

Let's build our own governments because the king let us!
And I am not too pleased with the kings decisions either
But oh no we are running to some issues with our governments, and the king does not seem to happy with the way we run our governments
after the 13 colonies developed, there were 3 regions that the 13 states were split into. each region had a different climate, geography and economy. they all built representative governments, but the king didn't like how they were doing it, and the colonies didn't like how was making decisions. so that could lead to some issues
