The Adventures of Toto
He was put away in a little closet, fastened securely to a peg in the wall.
Grandfather bought Toto from a tonga driver for a sum of 5 rupees as he thought that Toto looked very out of place with the tonga driver.

Grandfather tried to persuade the Ticket collector that Toto was not a dog but in vain.
Another time, Toto stuffed himself with pulao (rice). My grandmother screamed and my aunts rushed forward.
