- Everyone wanted to sell something. Some kids made bracelets. Some baked cookies. Others sold toys they didn’t use anymore.The market was full of color and noise.

- At first, everyone was excited to buy, buy, buy.Some kids bought things they didn’t really need. They wanted more and more.This is called consumerism.

- Soon, problems began.There were too many bracelets and not enough snacks.Some tables were empty, and others were overflowing.The supply did not match the demand.

- Lina, one of the kids, noticed something else.Some things didn’t sell at all.The kids had spent time and money making them.That was part of production.

- When we make things, we have production costs. That means the money, time, and materials we use
