Prince Siddhartha is surrounded by wealth and pleasure. Siddhartha is sitting next to all his gold and his material possessions.
Panel 4
Siddhartha goes on 4 chariot rides and sees several forms of human suffering. He sees old age, disease, death and grief when he goes on the chariot rides.
Siddhatha leaves behind everything including his family so that he can learn the teachings of ending suffering. He leaves behind his wealth and money so that he can end suffering.
Siddhartha mediates under a tree for 40-49 days and achieves nirvana(enlightment). This caused him to became a buddha and he started buddhism.
