- Every head of house had to grab a slip of paper from the black box
- THat's not fair!!!!
- Every head of house opened their slip. The Hutchinson got the black dot. Tessie got mad, claiming the fact that that the her husband got the dot was unfair
- The Hutchinsons put the black dot back and grabbed 4 slips after they all opened their slips Tessie got the black dot
- The people gathered their stones and gave the younger son on the hutchinsons a stone to throw at his mother, the people throw the stones as well
- tessie is hit by the stones and dies, after being stoned to death
