- A set of acts that were intended to promote self sufficiency of the British empire. The Navigation Acts were just one of the many things that tried to seperate British empowerment from American citizens.

- The Bill of rights sets basic civil rights that man has as a citezen of the country. It is the landmark that starts the idea that Americans are seperated from Britain.
