I'm not so sure about merger anymore...with the number of disagreements occurring between citizens and even among us, the leaders, merger may not be here for long.

I did not expect merger to have this outcome at all! I thought the leaders would have worked something out instead of deciding on a separation!

Although our partnership was unsuccessful, we will give them our utmost help to make them happy and to defend Singapore.
