Hello I am Deputy Barsum. I am part of the SWAT team here in Smith County!
Every day I get up and have a chance to serve my community!
Today, I will be in charge of patrolling Smith County as a plain clothes and be on call for the SWAT team.
There are many dangers in law enforcement that we have to be careful and look out for.
One of these is contributed to the fact that we daily put our selves into harms way to save others or prevent harm to the community.
