- Teacher
- For example, I feel like I would be fit for a teacher considering how I use my verbal/linguistic intelligence. While studying, I always recite my notes back to myself in a way I can understand. I feel like that’s the same role as a teacher and therefore, would make me fit for the job. Although I don’t like dealing with other people and having their education riding on me so I probably wouldn’t go down this path.
- Knowing your multiple intelligence can benefit you by allowing you to see which jobs would fit you. If your top intelligence is visual/spatial, then you would know to pursue a career that allows you to use your imagination or makes use of your ability to quickly memorize information.
- Entrepreneur
- Though I don't know if I would become an entrepreneur because I don't like to be a leader. I also don't want to shoulder the whole business' future, that would stress me out too much. I'd much rather be a follower than a leader.
- As for having high intrapersonal intelligence, I think becoming an entrepreneur utilizes that trait a lot. This is due to the fact that entrepreneurs are often by themselves and start off by themselves. So they are forced to solve problems alone and make all of the calls. Knowing oneself is important for this job because you'll know who to partner with and hire and who you get along with.
- Graphic Designer
- Becoming a graphic designer is on my list of possible occupations. This job relies heavily on visual/spatial intelligence to create works of art that stand out from the rest. You'd have to be able to make a design that sets you apart from the rest treading on this path.
- I'm interested in pursing this in the future, though I know the market is competitive and I don't have enough confidence I can beat other designers. A graphic designer is on my list of possible jobs but likely not one I'll pursue.
- Sales Representative
- A sales representative is someone who can easily keep the conversation going with their verbal/linguistic abilities. Someone who makes the other person feel comfortable and can still somehow fit in a sales pitch. Honestly sometimes I feel like I would nail that but I know I'm overestimating myself.
- Despite knowing I would probably fail, I still think this is an interesting job because you can make a lot of connections. I'm interested in this job but it'll probably be a backup.
- School Counselor
- I love talking anything related to school, courses and programs because they interest me. As a school counselor, I'd be able to use my verbal/linguistic intelligence and my love for talking about courses to go far in this occupation. Though I do get turned off by the pay.
- Conclusion
- AHHH OH MY GOD I DOZED OFF FOR TOO LONG! I FEEL LIKE I HAD SUCH A LONG DREAM! Best nap ever though.
- I'm starting to remember a little bit of my dream....I think- I think I was talking about how I used my top 3 intelligences in my daily life. Oh well, only time will tell. Time better hurry up because this comic is due tomorrow. But I think I know why these intelligences are important. It narrows down career options to ones that are specialized for you.
