okay jr so what is the first step
next u identify a,b, and c which would be 1=a 2=b -3=c then you subsitute a,b,and c into the discriminate which would look like this (2) -4(1)(-3)
now you solve it 2x2 is 4 -4(1) is -4 then -4(-3) is positive 12 then u bring down the 4 and add it to 12 so 12+4=16
so the first step would be turning the quadratic equation to standard form to do that you move -2x+3 to the left doing that will cause negative to turn positive and positive to turn negative .

to find the 2 real solutions u need to use the quadratic formula since we already found the discriminant where just gonna place the answer in then we will put the numbers to the coraspondit letter.
okay so next you find the number of solutions anything greater then 0 has 2 solutions so since 16 is greater then 0 there is 2 solutions.
how do you solve it?
first u figure out the square root of 16 which is 4 then u figure out 2(10) which is 2 then you seperate them one for addition and one as subtraction
so it will be -2+4/2 and -2-4/2so -2+4=2 divide that by 2 which is 1 so x=1
the -2-4=-6 divide that by 2=-3 so x=-3
so next you graph it
so in the graph you can see the 2 real solutions going through the x axes which -3 and 1
