This is the story of LaShana and Tucker. They became friends at school.Tucker was really short and LaShana had braces, so they were awkward in their own ways.This made them friends.
Climax
Tucker was really good at doing just about anything - like baseball, basketball, swimming, and even surfing.He got bullied a lot because he was short, and people called him bad nicknames.
Falling Action
One day, Tucker was fishing when somebody came up to him.He said his name was Richard and talked to Tucker about the U.S. Lifesaving Service. Tucker was very interested. Richard gave Tucker the nickname: Tugboat because he was small, but could do lots of things.
Resolution
A few days later, Tucker went to surf.A storm was coming and the waves keep getting bigger. Tucker notice that a man was drowning!Tucker rushed to help, but it was not working. Then Richard arrived and helped Tucker save the man's life.
After the they got to shore, Tucker was declared a hero! The guy gave him $100 for saving his life!Tucker felt proud, but he wanted everyone to know Richard was the hero. However, Richard had disappeared!
Finally, Tucker found out that Richard had lived 100 year ago and had worked at the Pea Island Life Saving Station! Had Tucker been helped by a ghost?Tucker may never find out, but he still talks about this story, with his friend, LaShana, became his wife.
