In school, an individual with an eating disorder may have a difficult time with a school lunch menu as the foods may be difficult for them to consume or they have trouble eating around others.#160;

An individual may leave substance abuse disorder because of#160;peer pressure/curiosity. Individuals may then find difficulty to get through the day with an addiction and slack off in their studies.#160;
An individual with ADHD may find the school environment#160;and tasks challenging as they#160;#160;Often fidgets or squirms,#160;Has trouble staying in his seat,#160;Runs and climbs where it's inappropriate,#160;Has trouble playing quiet,#160;Is extremely impatient and talk excessively.
As a faculty member/counselor, it is important to take part in guiding and providing our students with help and resources they may need with whatever they are going though. Having a personal/school therapist, taking medication, meditating, trying out remedies/activities that can help an individual have an easier life with their mental disorder are all ways to take action.
