- On our team, we do lots of drills. Our last warm up was that we had to be able to run a mile in less than 7 minutes. Let's check out how everyone did.
- Turns out that 8 more that 1/2 of the total number of players on the team succeeded in our last drill.
- Turns out that the total number of people that succeeded was 22 people.

- 1/2X + 8=22 First, you subtract 8 from 8 and 22 to even the numbers out. Then, you take 14 which was 22-8 and you multiple that by the reciprocal of 1/2 which is 2/1 which is equal to 2. So you multiply 14 by 2 and 1/2 by to so you get 1X=28 or X=28.
- Good job Norbert, you were correct. The answer is 22 out of 28 students successfully completed the drill. Coach sais that since were done solving, we can shoot around for about 20 minutes. Yay! May I also ask you you did that?
