- At the Council of Jerusalem, Saul, who is now known as Paul, and Barnabas argued successfully that Christians don't need to follow Jewish law. They then returned to Antioch where they confronted Peter, questioning Jewish law.
- I have done nothing wrong against the Jewish law or against the temple or against Caesar!
- I have decided that Paul has not done anything deserving of death.
- Saul and Barnabus, another disciple, preached and taught about Jesus in Taurus. They then continued on to visit Jerusalem, where they brought famine relief offerings.
- Jesus is the Son of God!
- Paul goes on his second missionary journey with Silas, through Asia Minor, Greece and other places to preach and teach, before he settled in Corinth and writes letters to Thessalonians.
- After many years of missionary work and spreading Christianity, Paul was arrested and went to court in Caesarea. Paul appeared before Festus and appealed to Caesar, where Festus and the council decided that Paul would return to Rome, despite the Jewish leader's requests for Paul to return to Jerusalem so that they could kill him on the way.
- Whilst under house arrest in Rome, Paul preaches the Gospel to visitors and wrote letters to Philippians, Ephesians, Colossians and Philemon. After two years, he was then released from Roman imprisonment.
- Paul was released from Roman imprisonment. However, after completing more missionary work, and writing letters to Timothy and Titus in Spain, he was arrested again and returned to Rome where he was martyred, most likely from being beheaded.
