- My parents have always taught me to speak my mind and stand up for what I believe. My mom works as an instructor for teachers to help them learn how to properly teach, so it is her job to tell others how she feels. My father works as an oral surgeon which requires confidence and accuracy to keep his patients calm and safe. The only problem is, this confidence and opinionated ideas can be brought home and I don't always know how to stand my ground
- How was your day?
- Good! A couple tough cases but good overall
- I try my best to keep my parents updated in my life and tell them stories of the drama that happens so they feel connected. I began to tell them about something a girl said at my school, when my father interjected with his feelings on the subject. He often tries to find teaching moments in many situations, which can make telling a silly story dangerous because it can turn into a large lecture. And that is exactly what happened.
- You know I always say that social media is super dangerous. I just don't understand the point of sending people pictures of your face.

- I totally get what you are saying. However, I think there are some benefits to staying connected to each other and an important social aspect. I think I am able to handle the responsibility and watch myself for making stupid, hurtful mistakes
- I just think that teens being on social media is a bad idea. It takes away from real life with kids being so sucked in and so few people are mature enough to handle it. I deleted all social media apps because I couldn't even pull myself away.
- Let her speak! She can barely even get a word in!
