- Omg! I can't believe that tomorrow is my first day of school! I'm so excited to start my journey to becoming a Nurse. Im a little bit nervous... everyone says its very hard. Oh well, I could handle it... I hope...

- Yeah, I'm drowning in assignments and have absolutely no time for myself or anyone else.
- Um why do we have so many tests and so much homework and it's only week 2... I don't know how I'm going to handle all of this. Im so stressed and anxious. I'm scared to go to my advisor, I don't want her to think I'm stupid.
- 2 weeks later...

- Mom! I'm so exhausted. It's assignments on top of assignments on top of assignments! I can't take it anymore. I haven't been to the gym in 4 weeks or had anytime just to lay down. I'm on a constant ticking time bomb of due dates and exams. When I take a break from studying, I get anxiety and feel like I'm wasting time.
- 1 month later...

- Ok, I need to calm down. I need to make a set schedule where I can fit in time to do things for myself. If I keep going with this routine of just focusing on my school work, I'm going to end up burnt out.

- Wow that was a great workout! When I get back to the room Im going to make myself a quick snack and then work on some assignments that I have due!
- 1 week later...

- I've been managing my time and I really do feel less stressed out! I went to my advisor to maybe see if she could help me find ways to cope with my stress and she really helped me! She also showed me how to find a tutor and book a session with them. Honestly, getting over the fear of looking stupid really changed my experience here. I am so much happier.

- Yeah I did the same thing! It was so tiring putting all of my focus on school. I realized that there is so much more to college other than just studying all day everyday. Hey, after we finish our anatomy homework... wanna go grab some froyo?!

- I GOT A 97!! IM SO HAPPY, ALL OF MY HARD WORK PAID OFF. Wow, it really is possible to still succeed academically while also making time for yourself and creating a balance.

- Wow. I'm so proud of myself! I really made it and stuck through all of the hard times to make it to where I am now. It really was all about finding a balance. Im getting a call from the other room, gotta go!
