- Good luck on your classes today, Will. I will be at work until evening, so your father will be the one to pick you up later. Is that okay with you?
- It's alright, Mom. I will do my best today . See you later, Mom and Dad.
- Hey, Will! Are you well prepared for our group presentation today? I am both excited and nervous.
- Yes, I've been practicing my part for a whole week. I am sure we can do this well. Goodluck to us!
- Hi Will and Mike! Thank God you are both present today. I was feeling so nervous before the two of you came.
- You can stop worrying now, Erika. Of course we are present. This day is very important for us. Majority of our grade for this subject will be based on how well we do in our presentation.
- A pleasant morning dearest students! For today's class, three of your classmates will present about the different Earthquake hazards and explain to us the ways in which we can reduce the risks associated with these hazards. Let's all give them a round of applause!
- Good morning to each and everyone of you. Earthquake hazards are capable of causing harm to us and to our environment. Without precautionary measures to follow, more lives and properties will be at risk once an Earthquake hits our community. Will Byers is here with me to discuss to you the different Earthquake hazards.
- The different Earthquake hazards can be categorized into two: Primary and Secondary. Primary Earthquake hazards refer to the direct effects of an Earthquake, including ground shaking, surface ruptures, and fault scarps. These primary effects can result to secondary effects such as landslide, liquefaction, tsunami, and fire.
