- We apologise even though it wasn't our fault and the company have decided to give you 200 pounds in compensation.
- What? How? Not Herbert!
- Mr. Mrs. White are at home whilst Herbert is at work when they hear a knock at the door. They answer it to terrible news; Herbert had been caught up in the machinery at work and died. Even though it wasn't the company's fault they gave Mr. Mrs. White 200 pounds in compensation to apologise. Mr. White is shocked at how wicked the paw is.

- Go on, WISH!
- I wish my son to live again!
- Mr. Mrs. White were about to go to bed when Mrs. White exclaims and tells Mr. White to wish for Herbert to be alive again, Mr. White is reluctant because he doesn't trust the paw but, after Mrs.White begs him to, he agrees.

- A while later Mr. Mrs. White hear a loud knocking at the door. Mrs. White hurries to the door thinking it's Herbert, struggling in her excitement, but Mr. White thinks otherwise. He believes that his son will be mangled and broken, so he picks up the Paw and wishes: " I wish..." when Mrs. White finally manages to open the door nothing is there.
