- I am making a new decree. Anyone at the age of 71 is too old to work so they must go to the mountains to starve and die. If they don't, they will be stuck in prison for the rest of their life.
- Inciting Incident

- Making a stick path for you to find your way home.
- It's okay I will be fine, it is the law after all.
- You know what I am not doing this to you I am bringing you back home later tonight when no one knows about it.

- I am sorry for what I have to do to you.
- The main characters are the young farmer, the wise old woman, the young lord, and Lord Higa. The story takes place in a village, in Japan.
- Climax
- Ok I will find a way! I am not letting you take my kingdom.
- You must do some impossible tasks or else I will take away your kingdom
- The young lord has a decree saying when people turn 71 years old, they have to go to the mountains to die because the young lord saw them as useless.
- Falling Action
- Please help me a new lord is making me do impossible tasks or else he will take this kingdom and kick me out!
- The young farmer was bringing his mother to the mountains but didn't follow through because of his mother's actions making sure he got home safe. The young farmer hid his mother for 2 or more years.
- Resolution
- YAY!!!
- Lord Higa ccomees and orders the young lord to do impossible tasks.
- The young lord ends up asking the young farmer for help, so the farmer asks his mother. She answers him and says that the impossible tasks are actually easy, so the farmer helps the young lord.
- Oh no I will help you!
- The wise old woman saves the village by telling the answers for the impossible tasks to her son the young farmer. So Lord Higa leaves, the young farmer tells the truth about his mother being in their kitchen for 2 whole years and the decree about people at the age of 71 is lifted.
