I know Icarus, I have a plan to go back, I will build some wings and we will fly home together!
Icarus, go get some feathers and wax so i can make some wings and we can escape together!

Daedalus and Icarus were held prisoners on the island of Crete inside a tower by King Minos.

Daedalus told Icarus to go find some feathers so he could build some wings to escape.

After Icarus got all the feathers and wax they needed, Daedalus arranged them into wings and waxed them all together. Then, he warned Icarus not to fly too high or the sun will melt his wax, and also not to fly too low, or the fog would drag him down.

Once all of the wax on his feathers melted, his wings all fell apart and he fell into the deep, cold sea.
Saddened by Icarus's death, he found Icarus' lifeless body and buried it on an island that he named Icaria.
