- It's been about 6 months. I made it to Oregon. I met some other people RebeKah and Oliver. Sadly soon after I met RebeKah she died from dysentery. Oliver is a doctor and very nice to my Bob. I think that this town is a good place to live.As I walk through town I can’t help but think that this town turned into a boomtown. There are so many people here now and the town was empty when we arrived. Now there are so many here. I still wonder what happened to Cornelia after we left. Especially with all the hardships we faced, mainly the rivers and animals, I will always wonder what happened to her and everyone else.I have a job teaching and Bob is going to school. We have a good life now.
