- full shot: hitchcocks films include many emotional scenes and he tries very hard to make us feel in the moment and he does a very good job at it.
- hitchcock uses close-up shots like this one (as an example) and it is used to show more emotion in the scene like shock, fear, anger, and many more different emotions
- close-up object shot: for example, a movie in the 21st century, hitchcock might have shown these scenes then this scene, it shows why the character is sad, surprised, angry, it gives more info to support why she is sad. if they didn't tell the audience why she is surprised they will maybe show the phone screen with the sad text message
- driving shot; it is used to show the urgency of where they need to go of the background music, the angle, the face on the driver, the speed, iratic driving, tooting of horn and many others create a scene with lots og emotion
- 10 second shock scene: these scenes usually happen randomly in the movie and it gives the audience 10 seconds of shock, sharing the shock with the character as they are shocked aswell
- characters dying off: this scene is random but it usually shows how they die and a scene on the dead body
