Joan was captured
in Joan's teenage years, she cut her hair and changed her clothes to look like a man. she became a professional knight and horse rider.
she rode on the back of a horse to see the king and tell him that there was a battle coming. The king told her to go to France to get people to fight.
everyone in France cheered for her because the news got there before she did. she found the people that were going to the battle.
she lead the fighters into battle against England in 1429. she got wounded and captured.
