Thanks to the support of many we have been able to achieve--Income tax-Prohibition of alcohol-Women's right to vote-Protection of national forests-NAACP, which is helping greatly to allow colored people to be treated equally
Income tax is effectively paying for many government programs without hurting the poor. Alcohol needed to be banned, it led to crime, domestic violence, and poverty. Women need equal rights, they contribute just as much to society. We only have so many natural resources, we need to stop destroying forests. Racial inequality must end, we need to challenge the Jim Crow laws and ensure equal rights.

Thanks to the progressive movement, there was a lot of work done in advancing civil rights equally for everyone. Elections are much more fair now, we can remove corrupt officials. The economy is also much more fair towards workers and consumers, no more working underpaid and dangerous hours. The progressive movement is also effectively helping protect the environment
