You, you and you. You all do this to us. Instead of fixing what’s broken, you are always looking for the next best thing. And I don’t blame you for it. But maybe you can help me turn this around. See, I am not just the only discarded smartphone. Many of us get discarded before our lifespan ends, and it really generates a LOT of unnecessary waste.
But maybe you can help us. You might not feel like you can do much on your own, but you actually can! You came up to me while you saw how I was feeling, so you obviously care about others. Please help us spread the word. Smartphones are not meant to be disposed of and replaced as fast as t-shirts. Together, we can turn this around into sustainable smartphone behaviour.
If you ever know someone who is really in need of a new phone, tell them to get a GreenGap. These are 90% recyclable and their spare parts, such as the battery, can be replaced to make it even more durable. But it is even more important to simply spread the word. To help us raise awareness.
