- I'm so excited to meet the students at Urbandale and start student teaching! I should tell them a bit about me...
- I love fall because of harvest time on my family farm and the leaves changing!I also love going back to school!
- Speaking of going back to school and creative writing...
- Two of my favorite poets are Emily Dickinson and Emily Juniper because both poets use very rich, visual language when writing! (Often using metaphors to compare parts of nature to their own topic!)
- I was a speech and theatre kid growing up so I really enjoy musicals and plays. I also am a die-hard Iowa State fan and love to watch football games! Go Cyclones!
- Now that you all know more about me, I can't wait to learn more about all of you!! See you in class!-Miss Betts
