12 colonies sent delegates to Philadelphia to discuss British actions. They split between two groups, the Patriots and the Loyalists. They boycotted England as a form of protest and sent a respectful message to the King to consider their grievances (complaints).
1st two battles of the American Revolution, this proved the King would not win so easily. Lexington became known as "shot heard around the world". Both battles showed how colonists would die fighting for their rights.
They created Continental Army after discussing Independence for a year. This happened after the battle of Lexington and Concord.
