Hi I'm Tammy the nurse. What's your name and pronouns?
I soon found myself in a mental health program for teens. Of course I resisted, feeling like I didnt need it.
Introducing your pronouns was one of the first things I was exposed to.
I just feel depressed
My home life isn't safe so I was out on the streets.
I have an E.D.
I have dissasociative Identity Disorder
I was in the program for about a month. We had a routine to follow each day. One thing we did was group therapy
I was skeptical of others, and was somewhat close minded to opening up, Thinking that my problems weren't as extreme
I struggle with addiction
I can't wait for art therapy today
But slowly, I felt things get better. Some days were easier than others, but I learned some skills to help me feel a little lighter

I made friends

I'm feeling overwhelmed and need a break
My parents understood what I needed and were my biggest supporters.
Ok . What do you need to do to calm down?
I can give you an extension
And I finally had a plan in place for when I went back to school. My teachers were understanding and I was able to graduate junior year.

It just goes to show that we all need a little help sometime, and can't do everything on our own.
