In stanza one, the poet explains that London and people were in a poor condition. For instance, he describe the following:"And mark in every face I meet Marks of weakness, marks of woe." For the"And mark in every face" this shows that London was chaotic and that people lived in very poor conditions. It affected everyone in the city
the qoute for the second stanza is 'In every cry of every man,In every infant’s cry of fear,In every voice, in every ban,The mind-forged manacles I hear:the repition of "every" shows that no matter if a man or child they all feel the same
"How the chimney-sweeper’s cryEvery black 'ning church appalls, And the hapless soldier’s sigh Runs in blood down palace walls." this shows that every one was miserable and that there was sorrow in their every day life
stanza four "But most through midnight streets I hear How the youthful harlot’s curse Blasts the new-born infant’s tear,And blights with plagues the marriage hearse." shows that  even since it should be a joyful day because of the new born it is ironic because it says curse the new born's  tear and youthful as in young and innocent yet they are cursing
in a summary the piont he was trying to put across  that it was a dirty place and not that clean
he also wanted to say that it was miserable and unhappy nearly every day with some sadness or some type of sorrow.
