- Australian Red CrossAustralian Red Cross is a well known organisation and charity in Australia that is credible and professional. The foundation act’s for humanity and helps people find shelter, support and their loved ones when a disaster strikes. The Australian Red Cross was officially formed in 1914 as an off branch of the International Committee of the Red Cross which started in Switzerland in 1863. The Australian Red Cross foundation stands by it’s motto of ‘Act for Humanity’ which is supported by it 7 key values; Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary service, Unity and Universality.This charity interests me as it helps millions of Australians, and has helped people I know and care for. The Australian Red Cross foundation also helped out a lot in the 2019 - 2020 Summer bushfires in Australia, and was a massive contributor to funding Australians needing to escape the fires, get to safety and recover. Which I strongly support and respect toward the charities that did so. The Charity is a big organisation in Australia and in the future if I wanted to fundraise or give money to the charity I’d like to know how they’re going to use that to help save lives.visit Australian Red Cross now for more information and way to help out - https://www.redcross.org.au/
