but when they arrived in libya, the smugglers held them captive for 15 days, saying they had to wait for good wheather but the wheather was fine.
mahmoud now works as a carpenter in misrata still making little money
they took them in small boats to get to the main ship. the syrians got life jackets but the Africans cramped underneath them didn't.
the boat started to take on water.it had sunk fouzieh and balal fell together and were in the water for nights before getting rescued
how can people leave hundreds of people to die?
talal was missing. he had drowned.
after hours of searching they finally found their family
struggling with the grief of their sons death, they only have one bedroom, a bathroom and cookware on the floor.
