Here we are in the heart of Auckland, New Zealand. Normally, traveling to Auckland by flight takes about 10 hours.

Our journey here in Shanghai, China took us about 9 hours. That's the equivalent to the S phase. The cell duplicates its DNA, resulting in two identical copies of each chromosome (sister chromatids)

This duration can be compared to the duration of G1 in the cell cycle. During G1, the cell grows in size and increases its cytoplasmic volume

Here we are in the heart of Mumbai, India. Our journey here represents G2 phase that took 4 hours to complete. During G2 phase, the cell continues to grow and accumulate resources needed for mitosis.
And lastly, I'm bringing you kids to Pakistan. The last phase of cell cycle is M phase. It took 1 hour to complete. M phase is where the nucleus and its genetic material divide
