- There isn't a perfect, definite method to preventing keyloggers, but doing things like using an antivirus software, making sure you download from safe, trusted websites, and checking the files of what you download, which the antivirus does for you, can help. These viruses can easily be transferred onto your computer through phishing, such as the fake website you downloaded the game from. Also, be aware on public, shared computers as it is easier for people to install keylogging software on them.
