- All the kids from district 12 line up as they are about to pull names of the boy and girl who will participate in the Hunger Games.
- I volunteer as tribute!
- Prim was chosen and Katniss volunteered herself to fight instead of Prim.
- Katniss and Peeta (the other tribute) are placed on a train and sent to the capital of Parlem. On the train they meet their mentor who gives them lots of tips on how to win the game.
- All the tributes begin their training and they build alliances.
- Later on when Katniss, Peeta, and Cato are the last people left, they were sent dogs to try to kill them. Then Katniss shoots an arrow through Cato's head to be fed to the dogs and Katniss and Peeta are left. Then they both decide to eat poison berries so they both die and when the announcers heard this they decided they can both win.
- Katniss and Peeta have won!
