- This shows man vs man because there is a conflict happening between Luke and Lyddie so the conflict is man vs. man. "Luke Stevens tied the horse and cow to the back of the wagon and then came around to give Lyddie a hand up, but she pretended not to see." (pg.15)
- This shows man vs nature because there is a conflict happening between the bear which is nature and Lyddie is the man so the conflict is man vs. nature. "No, she tried to breathe deeply and evenly and keep her eyes fixed on those of the beast." (pg.2)
